I am not enthousiastic about ADVRAM. It's a nice feature, but that's all. It
isn't backwards compatible, and it won't matter that much in speed increase
I think (I hardly use direct VRAM access). If you want faster Gfx, just use
a Gfx9000.

Or will this ADVRAM replace the indirect VRAM access of the v9938/58???
In that case, it will still be compatible indeed.

Z180 too!
It's faster (overall).

Z180 is also new. And it's better -imho- because there is no hassle with Z80
being slave and a special slotexpander which has within-expander I/O access
etc. The entire setup is better. And -afaik- it will support the Z180
enhanced mode... The one of the Z380 is better, but the one of the Z180 is
also good!
