Hi MSXers, I've just joined the list so thought I would say hi!
Is anyone out there cross developing from PC to MSX emulators? If so can you recommend any good (ideally free) tools? At the moment I'm using a22i (noca$h) assembler which is good. I also know about Chaos 3 IDE, but don;t really need those facilities. I particularly need a good Z80 disassembler, Windows based. I know about dZ80, which I am using at the moment, but it creates xyz.asm, which writes over my original source :( At the moment I am having to copy stuff around to prevent this. I would also prefer a built-in viewer. I've been scouring the net over the last week or two and I'm really surprised at the lack of good MSX hosted and cross development tools, given the amount of interest in the platform. Funnily enough there doesn;t seem to be that many good tools for Z80 either but I might just be looking in the wrong place? Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks, Tony.
