unfortunately, that tube of 'Big Red Manchester United Toothpaste' - or at least, that tube and many thousands like it - helps to pay for the team that we enjoy watching so much...not every team has a rich Russian sugar-daddy, y'know...
much as the rampant commercialization of our team makes us cringe at times,
it is a practical fact of remaining competitive in these times.

I think you were right the first time, Rik. On a somewhat similar
note, I came home last night to find that my missus had bought "Big
Red Manchester United Toothpaste" for the boys. I was absolutely
floored! Is that the direction Kenyon was heading with our football
club? If so, he is welcome to sell "Chelsea Dusters" to his new thug-
