'Fred the Head' rubbers, LOL.....
Maybe so, but putting the logo on everyday items that have NO
relevance to football whatsoever is taking the piss a bit, dontcha
think? It only adds fire to the ABU's constant shouting that fans of
this great club are just band-wagoners or johnny-come-latelys (oops,
there's Fred's new device again!!) because the public is being
bainwashed into "Manchester United Designer Evrerything, plc" instead
of "Manchester United Football Club".
There was a thread a couple of years ago stating the displeasure of
the plc's decision to take "Football Club" off the official club
badge. That deed opened up potential for more profits for those who
are associated with the club for financial gain alone. The sale of
these household products smacks of greed, and the profits have
NOTHING to do with the club, they are for the shareholders and non-
fans.
