> is anyone else growing frustrated with Forlan's
> performance? His first touch is mostly poor

I mentioned Forlan's bad touch after the Stuttgart game and he did it again
3 or 4 times today. His first touch is too heavy thus the ball runs too far
ahead of him and he gets tackled. As he is 24, his touch will always be a
bit suspect.

When Forlan does get the ball under control his vision is quite good as seen
by today's simple pass and the flick for Ruud's goal against Bolton on the
opening day of the season.

Ultimately, for me, Forlan lacks something in his all-round game to make him
a "United player" in terms of ability. He doesn't lack commitment or
enthusiasm but that will only take you so far.

If he is with by the start of next season, I'd be surprised.
