Good grief David - how long do you want to give him and how long does he need?!

As Aaron Shi Yan asked earlier: "Is it simply a lack of playing time (ie
not being selected for the starting line up week after week) or there
really just a lack of skill that we as fans demand for our strikers?"

I'd opt for the latter. I was amazed at how a player at that level
regularly stuffs up his first touch and the one where he had a clear goal
chance with a half decent first touch was particularly poor. If that
occurred in our local (Oz) league I would be disappointed - there, on a
regular basis, it's unacceptable. Having said that, I've not forgotten his
three vital goals last year, two against the 'Pool and the winner against
Chelsea!

Liked the look of Fletcher though.

"Plastic waste, by the year 2000, ought to be a comparatively minor problem
since, in a creative society, non-returnable containers of any kind would
certainly be illegal."
