I know that, this is exactly why we're working on this. My point is:
Even now Multisync happily syncs with Opie as long as you make sure the
PIM apps are not running while syncing.

However, if I didn't completely misunderstand you, the 2.38 Sharp ROM
PIM apps don't even seem to sync properly if QCop is not used. Naturally
it is desirable for Multisync to properly work with the 2.38 Sharp ROM
as well, therefore I was curious whether you did anything more special
than the startSync/flush/sync/reload/stopSync sequence to make it work.

Or was your original problem due to the fact that you tried to sync
while one of the PIM apps was open/quickloaded?
