For anyone wanting to try this for the heck of it: Depending on your
particular Qtopia/Opie version root/rootme or root/qtopia may be needed
instead of no password, YMMV.

That's what Multisync is going to do, so you'll be fine as soon as the
QCop support is fit for (CVS) release. The fact that this is necessary
is a strong indication that the apps are actually in memory, otherwise
you should get a 599 response, saying that the named channel is
unavailable.

I'd appreciate that very much. It may not be really necessary but you
never know when it might come in useful. Thanks a lot for taking the
time to investigate this. Seems not too many of multisync's target
audience use the Sharp ROM... Tom himself can't use it at all, as he has
an IPAQ, so any feedback and testing and that area will be most welcome.
