It would be unviable for IrDA to maintain a list of all
supported devices.

I did not try with MULTISYNC_DEBUG, but I saw that the
code in and around sync_test_connection() does not contain
enough debug info.

I can help in fixing the code if there is a bug. But I will
need assistance.
