this situation is unlikely. and class zero apdus are required to follow ISO7816
if you send a select apdu (00A4) there is little chance to destroy anything with real cards the idea that ludovic suggested also interesting: - check which readers are "full" - request the user to insert a card - again check which readers are "full" the difference is the where the user put the card. you can the confirm this is a good card by sending a poll command to the inserted card in general you expect a certain type of card, so you can choose a meaningful and nondestructive command if you choose an "ERASE ALL" command to poll your card, that's your problem :) regards sebastien Le 07/06/2012 11:34, helpcrypto helpcrypto a écrit : > IMVHO To be contactless is kind a feature, so a "request card features > function" (like frequency, memory, etc) could include the contactless > attibute...(or biomettric like ludovic suggested) > > Sending an apdu to the card, to check if that card is the "desired" > doesnt like me. Take the following example: > - Card A has an apdu 012345 which delete a file (no pin required to > delete the file :P) > - Card B has an apdu 012345 to select DF. > When looking for B DF, could I delete A files accidentaly? > > Anyhow, that is what i am currently doing. > > Regards. > _______________________________________________ > Muscle mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.drizzle.com/mailman/listinfo/muscle _______________________________________________ Muscle mailing list [email protected] http://lists.drizzle.com/mailman/listinfo/muscle
