Did you ever try to explain this to the developers of Enigmail (GnuPG extension for Mozilla Thunderbird)? They have the contrary opinion. This topic is discussed every now and then on the enigmail mailing list and they always say, they stay with inline signatures by default because PGP/MIME is some kind of evil. ;-) Greets Alex -- »With the first link, the chain is forged.
