Just a side note on HTML-only e-mail: I used to send all html-only (NOT multipart/alternative) to a spam file, which I reviewed whenever I happened to think about it (typically after several months) to see if there was anything legit in there. I'd typically find several hundred messages, and anywhere between 0 and 2 non-spam e-mails. Now, after a few years of the same results every time, I just send all html-only to /dev/null UNLESS it's on a list that I'm on or is from someone I've whitelisted). Just FWIW (which may vary from one person to the next).
