I am as the subject line reads trying to boot a mvp(d3a-uk) via a synology
diskstation ds-107. I have read various howto,s and had some advice from
mvallvend inthe gbpvr forums. What i have in my setup is a netgear dg834gt
router which at the moment is my dhcp server, to which i have a desktop pc,
laptop pc(wireless),diskstation Ds-107,and mvp connected.If this is possible i
would like to have the router to be the dhcp server for the desktop pc,laptop
pc and diskstation. Then to setup a dhcp server on the diskstation to serve the
mvp.Or if it is possible to have the router be the dhcp server for the mvp as
well.I am a beginner on setting up dhcp servers and linux, so amusing this a
learnng curve.If anybody can give me some advice as to the best method to go
about setting this up i would be most grateful.
