The chop problem seems to be gone, and I haven't had any audio sync  
issues, jumped around quite a bit to test.

Only thing I have is sometimes on a skip ahead the screen goes black  
and doesn't recover (at least not in the time I am patient to wait, I  
just restart the recording).  That might be related to my sometimes  
quite slow start of recordings.

Anyway the audio sync seems improved in this dongle.
