Indeed, and I certainly didn't intend to imply otherwise. I just wanted to make sure that a casual reader didn't get the impression that the "new page per wiki article" would be the most desirable scenario in all cases. I would concur that for Wikibooks (and almost certainly for other sites too) the operation you describe is desirable. Regards, Richard P.S.
