I have a number of MLO tasks which I use as place holders and under which I
add various tasks to do at that particular time.
I would like to just see the top level task in my normal working view but
then be able to switch to another view where I can see the sub-tasks but I
can't find a way of doing this.
If I use a closed context to hide the sub-tasks in the working view (which
doesn't show tasks where the context is closed), then the parent task does
not appear in the Working View (even thought it doesn't have the closed
context assigned)
If I set the Hide the Branch in To Do flag on the child tasks, then there
does not appear to be anyway of getting these to appear in the ToDo view -
even setting the Action Filter to All does not work (as it seems to still
filter out tasks with the Hide in Branch flag set). [Aside: there is
an Advanced Option option to test the HideInToDo flag but as all the Action
Filters seems to exclude HideInToDo tasks, this would seem to be redundant
- or am I missing something?]
Has anybody got any suggestions as to how I might achieve this.
And if not, is this something that could be facilitated in someway, Andrey
- as it would seem to be a thing that other people might want to do.
