Absolutely spot on SRhyse! Sorry Richard, but the problem lies with you not MLO. MLO can do as little or as much as you want - it's a tool, not a substitute for reacting intelligently. If the nature of your work changes, you have to adapt your methods and your approach accordingly. I've been in many "go live" situations and it's frustrating when carefully laid plans get sidelined or become irrelevant but that's life. The Outline tends to be most useful for thinking/planning but in the heat of battle the To-Do list may become the only thing that's relevant and then it's about speed and completeness of task capture and getting the urgent/important balance right - which is probably why you've reverted to paper. Don't get hung up on dates if your tasks and priorities are changing by the hour, it's a waste of time which will give you only the illusion of control. There is nothing wrong with a temporary "needs must" approach you can always revert when things calm down. If paper works best for you at the moment then that's ok too. It's just another tool. Point is; MLO can do almost anything you want if your thinking is flexible enough. It's not a functionality issue.
