some more input:
i've been using MLO for years and years now, and indeed there's no software
like it. basically, whatever todosystem you want to follow, you can
configure it in MLO. You can configure an infinite amount of views of your
todolist, based on combinations of several criteria. E.g. a way I use it:
through rapid task entry (a keyboard shortcut) I enter stuff that i need to
discuss with different team members. by adding e.g. -fltom (flag tom), the
item will popup, together with a miniature picture of tom, in the view that
sorts todos on the basis of team members. that way when i sit together with
someone, i just look at that view and see everything flagged with tom. just
one example.
AND all this is extremely lightweight.

there is a disadvantage to it not being webbased, which is that it's harder
to use it for teamwork or share things with others. teamwork is possible,
but i've never been able to work it flawlessly. (a My Team Organized would
be the best :-)

good luck choosing
