I used MLO 3x for a while but switched to Nirvana mainly because of the problems with sync to other devices, and some other issues. Your new version looks very promising, and am considering to go back to MLO, but there is one big function (but so easy to fix) that makes MLO "useless" for me.
I guess that many of the MLO users also use Evernote to keep their project information, files and references. In Evernote you can make note links, but they don't work in MLO. (those: " evernote:///view/10876222/s96/b791b5bc-551a-4498-a1b2….) Nirvana has a very simple but still very effective way to handle a use of those programs in combination, by allowing Evernote links. And it works great! It must be very very simple to make this links work, right?! If you take a look at Nirvana you will see, that they don't have a fancy integration with Evernote, still it's so easy to use in combination. The cool thing is that these note links also works in IOS, without any adjustments. The link will take you to the Evernote page as long as you have the Software or app installed. So you don't need tag-sync or APIs to make it possible to use Evernote and MLO effectively together, just the links will do. You could of course boost it by make an Evernote-link-attribute for tasks/projects you can past the link into, and have a evernote-link icon. It will make it more visually, but you don't have to. As long as I have all my information in Evernote, I can never convert to a task management system that doesn't have this function. I keep all my information in Evernote, and I make a Evernote note for every project I need detailed information around, and links to other notes references. Hope you are agree, so I can go back to MLO again J -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
