Hi, Lars. I don't imagine the developers feel that bad about their functionality as the "URL" version of Evernote link works just fine. Not only does it function nicely, but also it's portable, meaning that if I create the link on Windows I can reference it on my mobile, and I can create the link from MLO to Evernote on mobile and reference it on Windows, none of which would ever work with a file:/ based link no matter what was done on the MLO side to accommodate it.
If you have _not_ tried this, here are the steps: 1. On Windows Evernote, select a note 2. Select "copy note URL to clipboard" from the Evernote Share menu 3. Paste it into the note of an MLO task.
