I am considering purchasing MLO...but I have a serious concern. I reformat my computer regularly. This would mean I would need to reinstall the software periodically. If activation prevents me from doing this, I simply won't be able to purchase.
-How does activation work?... -Can I install on more than one machine? (I use at least 3 different computers...desktop, laptop, work) -Will my activation expire if I reinstall? (i.e. "you've activated your software too many times") -Will my activation expire after a certain amount of time? (I saw the discussion on this from a few years ago, suggesting a 5 month constant renewal cycle<http://groups.google.com/group/myLifeOrganized/browse_thread/thread/601d499991873f33/dd8e8e2585a2664e>...this sort of thing would be another deal-breaker for me) -What if I need to install on a machine with no Internet access? I'm simply afraid of setting everything up putting data in, and relying on the software...and then not being able to use it or get my data out at some point.
