This is not the behavior I get when invoking Assistant by voice. When clicking on the text it toggles a time stamp. Long click gives the option to edit or delete. No option to choose a default app.
If I invoke by tap I'm able to choose the default app which is already set to MLO. Google has changed some thing with Assistant recently. This was working when invoking by voice and I didn't used to see a difference between voice and touch.
