Details:
With my setup at least, Mypaint can steal keyboard input from other apps when
navigating menus with the keyboard - a grab issue? To reproduce:
1. Be using Compiz with Gnome on Ubuntu 10.4, with Visual Effects
set to "Normal" in the Appearance prefs.
2. Launch MyPaint. Stay in non-fullscreen mode
3. Press the Menu key to visit the menu with the keyboard
4. Press down, once, to enter the File menu
5. Press Escape to cancel the menu operation with the keyboard.
Note that after the menu closes, the menubar label you were in
is still highlighted.
6. Use the mouse to switch window focus to another application,
and try typing into a text box or something. Observe mypaint
receiving the keystrokes instead.
Whoops. Entirely my own fault for doing bug #14949's workaround so hackily of
course...
