Follow-up Comment #3, bug #18519 (project mypaint):
I should probably clarify what I mean in this bug report. This is about the
subwindow position settings, e.g.
"layersWindow": {
"h": 280,
"sbindex": 0,
"floating": false,
"w": 230,
"y": 249,
"x": 709,
"sbheight": 192,
"hidden": false
},
from settings.conf. The problem comes about if the "hidden" associative array
key is removed.
The problem appears to go away if you play with the buttons until them match
the state of the window and then close MyPaint normally. The new explicit
setting for "hidden" is saved, and on next launch everything looks right.
