Well, I was doing svideo from a nvidia GF4 440MX card to my tv, but no matter what I tried, the picture was still "interlaced" looking and grainy. I knew that at my college, the podiums had vga-in for the instructors laptops, which fed into some sort of device that output to the twin 32" monitors. I googled around and found the VGA-to-Component converter, which is similar to what the podiums had. After using the converter, I can hardly tell between live-tv (straight tv/no myth) and Myth's live-tv, whereas before there was a HUGE difference. > This would be 2 times the cost of a new video card with svideo out. Yes, but if your motherboard has vga onboard, you don't need another video card at all. Worth the money, IMHO. HTH, and by the way, YMMV Josh
