Oh yeah, and finally, there are some easy almost point and click ways to do this. For example, I will admit the burning software for Windoze has a pretty nice UI. Export your video directories under Samba, and go to your Win machine, and call up your Easy DVD Creator or similar software. They will take an mp2 (and I think even an mp4) and transcode it to dvd-mpeg-720x480 and burn it as a DVD for play in a player. Slow as hell, of course, to do the transcode.
