I have the 350. The 250 has the encoder only (Input), 350 has both encoder and s decoder to output to TV. But you might need a video card, too. At least temporarily to setup everything. Once setup is complete, you could remove the video card. It's been awhile, but depending on where you're at, I got mine at newegg.com. Out of California, I believe.
