I've checked out the mythtv.org website and I'm not sure I understand the commercial skip very well.
I just recorded a couple of programs tonight and can't seem to skip the commercials. I have the PVR-350 with the new remote. I tried hitting the skip button, but it seemed to take it ahead 30 seconds or so. I've been in the menus a bit, and I have the commercial detection on blank frame I think (the default). I wonder if it has the option to not record the commercials at all, and basically pause the recording when it hits a commercial, or is it better to record the whole thing and then somehow take them out after. Is there more documentation on this feature I can read up on? Thanks. -- -=/>Thom
