I wouldn't be upset just as long as I can always turn browse mode off
just as easily as I can turn it on now. It seems I'm in the minority,
because I watch live TV over 50% of the time. I don't really care to
sit staring at the guide on Sunday night for the entire week and
saying "oh, that might be fun to watch, I'll record it". I record
about 5-7 shows a week at most. Even then, I'll watch some of them
while it's recording (I know I don't have to). I like to "discover"
what's on TV and record the favorites, must watches.

The delay doesn't bother me, I'm very happy with the fact that the
guide still shows the show while I can see what else is on or what is
coming up. I'd personally like to see the ability to enter numbers in
the guide (I thought this was implemented already?? but it doesn't
seem to work for some of my numbers that are used to navigate like 2
and 4 and so on), but that's another issue at hand.

I also watch news and sports. You guys telling me that you record
news? Or that you always record sports (most of which extend beyond
or well short of the exact program time)? I can't stand watching
something that's supposed to be live after the fact.

Thanks!
Matt
