Well I was hoping they would give me a motorola 6200 not a DVR, and the
tech said they have them. I think the frontdesk lady was trying to make
a sell.  Anyway, Im calling the tech back (since he knows what equipment
they have) and see if they have a non-DVR box. The one im trading in is
just an older motorola dtv cable box (non-dvr). And yes, I can
understand paying for the DVR box, but if they have (or can order) a
motorola box that would be much nicer.
