LOL... My $10,000 client started out a/c then switched to manis! I charge the same price for a spa mani as for a fill, because they both take me an hour, so I get the same wage! I absolutely agree with you, Diana, in the fact that hour per hour I make the most money with pedi's... man, bring on that pedi season in WA!!! I absolutely agree with you, Melody, that a tiered service menu to keep busy dispite NSS, and descriptions in the brochure so everyone knows what they are getting. I have a "classic mani/pedi combo" package for $40. Takes me about an hour and fifteen minutes... Marketed as "for the lady on the go, to hold you over 'til you can get the relaxing stuff!" None of the good stuff, just what they would get at an NSS, but I'm clean and speak english. So, yeah, I love doing mani and pedis too... I just only give full sets on promo stuff because they are more likely to come back, and it's more money for the organization for silent auctions.... My newest marketing idea is for tax season... I'll let y'all know how it goes! I am offering a "grow your nails out package"... One spa pedi, 6 weekly spa manicures, and a bottle of nailtek and solar oil. Regular price $250, on special for $200... Let's see how people spend that tax return money!! Michelle Cordes
