Why not try a naturopathic doctor? Or a chiropractor? I think it is
ridiculous for the medical community to charge people or insurance companies
and then

You really STILL have no answers, other than lots of medical bills. This is
like paying for a car and not receiving it...of course the reaction is going
to be

It is all in your head. This is the pat answer they use when they don't
know what is wrong and neither do you. If your gut feeling is that you have
some

Type of infection, try to find a doctor that will listen. You have the
right to live without pain. If it is some type of infection, antibiotics
would help I would

Think. Why would it hurt to try them? Pain medication only masks the
symptoms instead of curing the problem. This is what I think anyway.

Well unfortunately i am not feeling good again. I woke up sunday feeling
much better but by sunday night i was miserable again. I ended up calling
the doctor in the middle of the night and he said he didnt know what to tell
me but that i could go the er if i wanted. I figured since i went saturday
and they were doing cultures i would wait until this morning and call but
unfortunately they showed nothing so far. I had gone on a doctor forum and
they responded that they have seen where after having a ut infection some
women end up with IC so they are sending me to a urologist that specilizes
in it next week. They tried really hard to get me in today but no luck.
They gave me some pills for the discomfort and i hope they work.

I STILL THINK I HAVE KIND OF VAGINITIS or YEAST INFECTION. I feel irritated
and am starting to itch down there but noone believes that the urge to pee
is a symptom for it. Does anyone on here have those issues? I was also
bleeding from there last night but today when they examined me they didnt
find any sign of that either. I just think that it has to do with that vs
my UT.

The statistics of this are interesting 1 in 133 people have this disease,
however, only about 3% of these have been diagnosed. That means ther are
over 2.1 million undiagnosed people with celiac disease in the US.

If there is anyone that has any information at all on this disease or
any dietary advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for being such a great group!

My grandmother has a history of severe pladder infections and had found out
she is allergic to gluten also. Interesting.

Hi Barb,

I have been struggling with bladder problems since 2002. I take
antibiotics and they do not work. I get an attack at least twice a month.
It starts out by having to pee really bad and at the end it will burn really
bad. Then I am sitting on the pot every 2-5 minutes trying to get all the
"bad" pee out until the burning stops. I have to drink water or cranberry
juice and it subsides. Then I will have the burning, but much less than the
onset, for about 2-3 days. I have gone to a urologist and I check out fine.

At Christmas time I started getting heart palpatations. Went to my PCP
and they did a chest x-ray, stomach x-ray, blood tests etc. They found out
by my bloodwork that I have low iron deficiency anemia. I got my period a
week early and it lasted for 11 days. (I am never early, always 28-29 days
and only lasts 5 days). I went to the gynocologist and she also said I was
fine and just to keep track my period for a few months. The PCP then sent
me for a colonoscopy and they did not find anything there either. While I
was at the hospital the doctor told me that they were going to take more
blood and test for gluten sensitivity. A week later they called me with the
results. I had elevated transglutaminase (tTG) levels. Now on Monday I
have to go in for an endoscopy to determine if I have celiac disease/gluten
sensitivity. Which there is no cure for only the treatment of being on a
gluten-free diet for the rest of my life. This is the last resort in
finding a reason for my unexplained iron-deficiency anemia.

To make a long story short, I found out that there is a link between
UTI's and celiac disease. I have talked to people and researched on the
internet that in most cases, if a person is suffering from bladder
infections, goes on a gluten-free diet, it cures their bladder problems. My
best friend is having a similar problem. She is in pain constantly. She
has all of the symptoms of
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstitial_cystitis> Interstitial cystitis.
You can research this as well. Her doctor gave her pills telling her that
she just has a weak bladder. The pills are not working for her. She is
going to have the test for gluten and see how it plays out.

I am not saying that you have any of these problems. I just wanted to
tell you of my experiences and inform you of more avenues to for you to
research. Good luck.

I left for Mexico on sunday for two weeks and am back already. I left with
a UT infection that they gave me a prescription for but i continuously got
worse instead of better. They changed my medication and i am still not
feeling well even though i went to Urgent care last night and they told me
it looked like it had cleared up. My symptom is that i feel like i have to
pee all the time and at night i feel like my bladder is going to explode and
no pain pills they have given me have helped. I thought it could be a yeast
infection so they gave me a pill to take but its still not better.

Has anyone else had this and am i just being too impatient. Its been since
saturday and i feel like i am going nuts!!!!!

Thanks.

Hey Ya'll...(off topic) did you see the Tennessee Lady

Vols Coach Pat Head

Summit win her 1000th tonight against Georgia????

AWESOME!!!

Now, (on topic) I just joined a local networking grp and in

listing my

services one of them is Rock Star Toes. I'm needing an

explanation of what

they are and in my small brain the only thing that I can

think of is: They

are enhancements that involve layering gel and glitter with

a super shiny

top coat that doesn't chip. Sounds really, really,

really lame, huh? Soooo,

I thought I would ask my peeps for some feedback and I

ideas. I really want

something that they can read and understand and will blow

their socks off

(literally) so they will book with me to get the service.

I'll be watching for your fab ideas.

Thanks in advance
