Dear Nicole,

? I feel for ya!? If you've been doing nails long enough, you WILL have a
client like this! I almost asked if her name was Chris until I realized you
were located in San Antonia and Chris moved to Florida last year!? lol!? Sounds
just like her though!? Anyway, please make notes before you call, so you can
keep the conversation on track.? Do not let her get you side tracked!? When she
realizes you are calling her on her bad behavior, she may?try to divert you
away from that!? Write down the behaviors you are concerned about, and possible
solutions.? Make notes like, "point out that other clients are paying for my
time also, during their appointment and that she is NOT paying for the 45
minutes she is sitting there drying her nails"? You could also make a price
list that charges for use of the UV lamp, ($1.00 a minute?)? etc.? Don't let
her get away with this, crybaby or not, she needs to know that she is not only
hurting your business, but hurting other peoples feelings!? (Screaming at
another clients husband!?? Gawd!? What is wrong with people anyway!?? Geesh!)
?You could also try the "I can't seem to make you happy here so please try
"Manicurist Madge" at "Salone De Ville" down the street.? Offer to write down
her favorite polishes (name and brand!) so "Madge" will be able to provide her
with those, and by gosh, you've already called?"Madge" to make sure she uses a
similar product line to yours and confirmed that she will be able to accept her
as a new client at her same appt time!? (wink wink!)? She will be flipping
out!? It will be great entertainment!? Please try to video cam the whole
thing!? lol!?

?I've had to fire clients before and this approach works the?best.??This
approach sounds like you are still trying to please her by finding her a new
wonderful?place to get her nails done!? lol!? ?Please let us know how it turns
out!

Pam
