I have owned coach bags. They stand behind there product. She should take it to a coach store send it in for cleaning. Which they do for free. If it doesnt come out, they will replace the bag. Those bags are guaranteed for life. I have sent a wallet that the zipper pull broke. and they replaced it. I also sent a purse in that was a light pink, that I got dirty they couldnt clean it to their satisfaction so they sent me a voucher for purse amount.
