Sheila, The BEST thing to remove any was is to first gently take off the hardened wax. Next take a paper towel and fold it in half. Put a hot iron and "iron blot" the wax stain. Keep moving the paper towel and make sure to not iron over the already used part of the paper towel. I used this method with paraffin wax on a sweater, candle wax and also depilatory wax. It is the ONLY trick that works!
