The people that have called me that have used that specific lamp, cured the Shellac using the Shellac step by steps and in that specific lamp with the usual cure times, they were not getting a cure.
Ideally, yes you should be using either the Brisa lamp or the new CND lamp to cure Shellac to get a true proper cure as Brisa and Shellac both have very low photoinitiators and require a high UV output to be cured.
