I am pretty sure my directions did not specify using only their lamp. I will have to read them again but am fairly certain..it said, "*cure base coat 10 seconds...cure steps 2 and 3... 2 minutes"

I did get chipping at the corners on my right hand. But if you look at them from the top you can't see them. Thanks for the explanation. I'm still annoyed that they went ahead with the US launch without the speced lamp available. We all don't use Brisa and have a Brisa lamp. Thier marketing people have been hyping this up and people are chasing down Shellac and now we have to wait weeks for the lamp. I love the product but want to be able to use the proper lamp.
