One shop that I worked in got an Asian supply catalog and we ordered about 5
different top coats from them and could not figure it out. The stuff
apperently just air dries and is so hard to get off. used to be that you would
only see it on the airbrush work but now it seems to be on polish and all. I
think it yellows though. I have seen some pretty funky looking airbrushed
french sets. Dingy and yellowed.
Oh yea I had a lady tell me that she was told in one of those places that the
airbrushed is a true french and the hand painted ones are an American french..
Oh yea and white girls can't do nails. FYI just thought you all should
know<LOL>

Heather,
e had this asked before and many of us have had clients come to us with this
n.
t is classic chop shop stuff.
f I remember correctly, we concluded it was some unknown brand in a brown
ottle available from Viet supply houses. I looked at five different places
hile in Chicago to find it and hit dead ends at each one.
hen I find out what it is, I will pass along the info as many on here wanted
t.
ut, like all things chop shop, everything is in unmarked jars and is a
ecret.....
uenos dias,

ubject: NailTech:: What is this coating?
I had a new client that came in yesterday for a fill on her flat set of too
hick nails :-). They were pink and white tips. The top coat that was on this
et was like nothing I have ever seen. It was very hard and very glossy. It did
ot file off like a gel (and very few nss salons in my area do uv gel, they do
rench dips and call it gel). I was wondering if anyone has seen this and what
t is? I want some of it whatever it is. It was way shinier than any of the uv
ealers/topcoats that I have and even shinier and harder than the TT Acoat that
love so much. It was like glass and filed like a fiberglass overlay (you know
hat real hard to file off with a carbide bit feel?)
