I just call it a "No Chip Manicure (or Pedicure)". They don't need to know the
difference between brands, that is for us to deal with, imo. I charge an extra
$10 on top of whatever service, and I won't do it without at least the most
basic mani/pedi service to get the nails ready. I do not charge to soak off,
the $10 on the front side covers that in my opinion also. When I first started
I
ran a special "Upgrade to NO-CHIP for NO CHARGE" (which PS I did excluding
Shellac... lol) to build up some buzz and get some happy client pics on my biz
fb.

Subject: NailTech:: what r u calling this/gel polish

okay, how r you battling this new service of gel polish? We have gel polish.
one
which is a cross of polish and gel.  then we have gel that is colored but is a
gel.  we have soak off, we have file off.

So far I have only one client that is soak off, will not allow me to file, have
her on Shellac.

The rest of my clients, which totally SURPRISED ME, that have the soft gel or
ac
on, are the ones that are falling in love with gel polish. I have been given
the
free gel polish application to these long standing clients, to #1 to teach
myself on time issues, and #2 to SPOIL them.  And will start charging them an
extra 5 bucks starting next week.  I know some of you are saying, why would you
give them away free to your clients? Well so worth the cost, consider it
advertising cost.  I didn't have to explain to them the advantages and try to
talk them into it.  Just show them!!!!!!90% of them said they would go for it
because of the convenience of the no drying issue!!!!!!!!

I have so many colors and will get more.  But some will be soak off in 10
minutes, some will be soak off in 20 minutes, and some will be filed off.

For all of you that are carrying both, what are you saying, or advertising the
diff.? Want to start advertising this,to NEW POTENTIAL customers, but don't
know
exactly what to call it.  Because so many different service options.  On top of
their natural nails, on top of their existing  ac or gel.  Can't really say
soak
off, because all aren't all soak off.  Any suggestions?  diana from indiana
