microwave them ?

or make a small rice pad and use that on your table to add heat and microwave
it.

I have started using warm towels to speed up shellac removal.  Now I'm looking
for a towel warmer and I'm finding towel warming ovens anywhere from 79.95 to
2,000 $$$$.  Anyone have a great recommendation or really cheap option?

I would consider the paraffin to be to MY benefit.....I'd use only enough to
cover the fingertips, so it would be no advantage for the client. I'm glad you
mentioned hot towels. I use them in my spa pedicure services, so it would
probably be better/cheaper/more effective to use them rather than paraffin!!
Thanks, Arpi!

Paraffin is a great idea for my spa level services, I use hot towels for the
heat and it helps.
How much would you charge if you added paraffin?

Thanks for the report Kelley! I'm wondering if you tried coating your
fingertips with paraffin after applying the foil/cottonball/acetone to soak.
I've been using the "nail spas" loaded with a cottonball and acetone to do the
soak off. It works well, but I'm considering going back to the
foil/cottonball/acetone method and then using a plastic bag to apply the
paraffin. (Most clients thumbs don't fit easily into the nail spas) Plus, I
think the heat from the paraffin would speed up the process considerably!

Marsha,
Soaked of the layers and layers of gel today. I did one hand at a time
and it took about 35-40 mins each hand. I think my next experiment is
going to be just putting the base coat on the new growth at the back
of the nail only, it was alot of work removing them and they were
kinda thick but not as thick as enhancements.

Boy I am babying my nails now, i just put on a few layers of duri
rejuvacoate. they are in good shape.
