Same thing happebed to my neice. She went to a NSS salon in RI and asked for SHELLAC why she went there I can't explain... (Didn't talk to Auntie first) But they put on Axxium SOG called it Shellac and she thought she got the real deal. All I can say is "You get what you pay for! I like the Axxium products. I use them and they are great! I don't believe in misleading the public about what they are getting. She did get a little talking to and that was free! New client came in tonight, she called 2 weeks ago to get in to take off her "shellac" she had put on the week prior, been busy so she had a 3 week "shellac" outgrowth. Oil/Acetone/Foil wrap her up, 10 minutes pass, I take off the pinky.....not easily scrapping off, hmmm, put the foil pack back on for another 5 minutes. Lets just say, this process, plus filing off the product took 20+ minutes. Fast forward to application....hmmm...the salon she went to for "shellac" only had the white for her french in a bottle with a brush......hmmmm SHELLAC IMPOSTER!!! I love how these non-standard salons continually ruin our industry reputation passing off false information/products continually. We need to find a way to become a united front and knock these undesirables off their butts and out of business!
