The thing is, according to Merchant Services, it is the clients' banks that
do it.
Honestly, I forget to warn them, it is their bank and they should know how
it works if they choose to use a debit card.
Some people are anal checking their account daily and then I get the call. I
try to explain it to them. Some think I added extra.
FYI...this is common with restaurants, too.
At first I thought it tacky to say something about the tipping, but I am
going to explain it and let them know beforehand.
