How did all of you guys do it? I am a booth renter. $150/wk. Busy Salon with a great reputation in our community. I have lived here for 3 yrs and have built a great clientelle here. In order to save my spot for myself, I will have to pay full booth rent for each week I will be out for maternity leave. Due in late October. If I take Nov and Dec off (9 weeks), that is $1350. youch! I think of all the other things I can do with that $. Do I risk it and "quit" and see if she has a spot for me to rent in January? I think I'd like to come back to work part time-3 days/week. I wouldn't expect her to save my spot during the busiest months of the year. Thanks in advance for all of your input.
