The owner of my salon is Fantastic!!! She let me work the desk when I was preggo (which was during the "slow" months) to pay for my maternity leave. i had a C section also and wanted to take 6 week but i also had postpartum depression so i took an extra week. I started saving my tips the day I found out I was preggo. So that might be an option for you. My rent at the time was $100/week, I would have had enough by the time i left. Are you sure you are going to want to work after the baby is born? i knew I wanted to go back, even if it was just part time. i still pay full booth rent though.
