Could you sub-let your space to another tech while you are out? Are you the only nail tech in the salon?
I have been back at the salon for 3 weeks after taking 8 weeks off after having my daughter. I was luck that the owners did not charge me booth rent while I was gone. I did post a ad on Craigslist to find a tech that was willing to fill in temporarily for me while I took maternity leave. That way the owners still got some rent, but not from me.
