So today my state board inspector came by my salon for his annual inspection. We have always enjoyed talking. I asked him if he had heard about all this crap going on in IN....he said no, but that it didn't surprise him. He said basically it's unregulated NOW. He was telling me that one VERY NSS he had written up three different times for violations. All they received were letters in the mail. He was raising cane with the state board, saying they needed to be shut down. They won't even let him FINE anybody anymore! And he said when he raised hell with the state board about this shop that was a 3 time offender about shutting them down or whatever, the board told him "our lawyer said for you to just not go back in there". Dammit, this infuriates me to no end.
