Hi there, I just wanted to insert a sidenote here, I doesn't know if
it is relevant or not - but, On 64bit windows, the 32bit programs are
virtualized wheras on Linux - if I understood it correctly - the 32bit
applications does just call the 32bit versions of libraries.

I does not know how or if this information can help, I just thought
that I had to mention it.
