Sorry to niggle about technicalities, but the DC-106A module is not a
Beam-X device. Beam-X tubes only include the types with internal rod-
shaped magnets. The BD-301 used in the DC-106A module is just a plain
old magnetic beam switching tube.

There are plenty of beam switching tubes that can still count. Unless
it's an unshielded external-magnet type like a 6700 or similar, which
has also been stored outside its box, it probably still works fine.
