I don't bother with insurance and disputing things with the postal service and PayPal. I ship without insurance and send a replacement item if the package is lost. Why pay someone else to be your insurance agent?
Since I'm mailing things that I build myself, the replacement cost is much less than if PayPal were take the entire sales price from me.
I've had less than 1% problem shipments, having mailed hundreds of small, expensive items all over the world.
