It may well be correct for the first parts he had, assuming that the
tubes in the listing's banner image are wired normally. But as you
point out, it certainly isn't correct for the ones he's actually
selling. Since the only picture he has that shows the display lit is
the one from the unit I sent to VTA, I doubt he's ever tried to light
one himself.

On the other hand, I think he may now be aware that there's something
fishy with these units - his current listings have these listed for
$11 less than the 7-segment version (qty 1 - the qty 6 price per piece
difference is even greater, at $16+), whereas he used to have them
listed for a much higher price than the 7-segment ones.

Do yours have the device part number stamped on the tube, or just the
date code (in the usual Reflector purple rubber stamp style), and a
paper label with the part number and original date code? For
